Family Therapy
Every family has its own rhythm, history, and challenges.
I offer family therapy in Burlingame and throughout California via secure telehealth, creating a safe space where each voice can be heard and understood. Together, we’ll work toward stronger communication, healthier boundaries, and more connected relationships.
I invite you and your family to book a complimentary 15-minute discovery call with me below!
My Approach
I view families as dynamic systems — when one part is under stress, the whole unit feels it. In sessions, I use a Family Systems approach along with:
Child/Parent Psychotherapy to strengthen parent-child connection
Interpersonal and Attachment-based strategies to heal relational wounds
Solution-Focused techniques to help families move from conflict toward collaboration
Mindfulness practices to bring calm and presence into family interactions
The goal is to foster greater understanding, balance, and support within the family as a whole.
Common Issues Family Therapy Can Address
Family therapy can help with:
Parent-child communication struggles
Sibling conflict or rivalry
Divorce, separation, or blended family transitions
Stress related to school, work, or caregiving roles
Family conflict affecting daily life
Coping with major life changes together
What You Can Expect in Our Sessions
Our first session will give each family member a chance to share their perspective. I’ll listen for patterns, strengths, and points of tension. Together, we’ll create goals that reflect the family’s values and needs. Over time, sessions will focus on building communication skills, resolving conflict, and strengthening bonds.
